Now to share a recipe for… Wild Turkey Stew.
Ingredients:
1.5 pounds of wild turkey breast (or chicken breast)
1 32oz carton of chicken stock (or 4 cups homemade)
1 small onion diced
5 carrots cubed
2 sweet potatoes peeled and cubed
1 cup pumpkin purée
1 cup chopped white mushrooms
2-3 cups chopped kale
Spices are flexible but I used salt/pepper, garlic and onion powders, thyme, basil, and oregano.
How to:
Really easy. Throw it all in the slower cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. When finished, shred turkey and serve up! So good and like I said, the recipe is flexible on chicken or turkey and your herbs/spices!

Above… The results of the weekend raking leaves marathon. Ha I think Leo had a bit more fun playing in the mud than helping gather leaves 😉 Fun times!! Oh that muffin recipe can be found here.

We did paint the door blue. It took me a long time to decide but happy I did! We also have a chalkboard wall in the kitchen. It’s green! Probably will go black after summer. The color is great for now though!

Leo loves it 😉

I know I’ll sleep fabulous tonight because we finally had a solid meal prep day. It feels great!

Also I’ve been dabbling in essential oils, I love them so far! Any tips? I’ve been rubbing our feet with lavender each night and peppermint if our head or neck is hurting. Lavender is fabulous for bug bites too… Goodness knows I keep at least one this time a year!

That’s the amazing cookbook I’m cooking a lot out of this week. Y’all go check it out and get yourself a copy! George from Civilized Caveman and Juli from PaleOMG worked very hard on this beauty!

Thanks for hanging with me during my little meal plan break/extended Grace week 🙂

Happy June y’all!
