Day 8 “Tastiness”

Haha tastiness… Maybe that’s a word I made up due to lack of sugar lol or wine! Kidding… we are coasting along and loving the extra energy and the way we are feeling! If you’re on the fence about doing the 21 Day Sugar Detox… Just commit to it and it’ll be worth it. I promise! And know when you pay $21 for the program- you get a lot of great material to download! Full of recipes, research, and (I need another r) will get really amazing improvements in your quality of life.

But day 8 was super tasty people. It ended with our second favorite meal… Sushi πŸ™‚

But first, I must share. I made whipped coconut cream.

I added vanilla and cinnamon πŸ™‚Β Then I stored it in a glass airtight container. It’s so good y’all.

Breakfast— used the leftover almond pancake batter to make a sort of pancake crumble. Meaning I just didn’t stress about making the pancakes picture perfect… They’re effortless cakes all broken up and topped with cinnamon, coconut, and cacao nibs. Served with carrots and an egg muffin. Coffee topped with coconut and sprinkled with cacao nibs! Fancy πŸ™‚

Lunch— Veggie Salad topped with pico and leftover fish from fish taco night!

Had some tea on the side with our new Teavana tea makerΒ from a sweet friend!

Snack– Green apple slices topped with some banana then served with almond butter mix up (chia seeds, coconut butter, cinnamon, and some other stuff!). 20130128-221944.jpg
David and I shared that plate full which was 1 (green tipped) banana and 1 Granny Smith apple. Yum πŸ™‚ Oh this week, totally typed out my grocery list then emailed it to myself and printed. So easy!

Excited about my “fruit” bowl… coconut! Plan on making homemade coconut butter πŸ™‚

And my super clean produce (used a big sink full of cold water and some vinegar– then a cold rinse and dry!)!

My husband rolled some amazing sushi!! Look at the focus on his face… hahah love it πŸ˜‰

Documented it all… cauliflower rice, avocado, cucumber, and tuna. Roll it up and sushi is made.

I made an avocado-chia seed drizzle/dip for the rolls. Also served it with coconut aminos for dipping. Then sliced it up to eat!
